Introducing the MBR 3000
A Revolutionary Soak Tank System to Clean Off Carbon and Grease
One of the challenges in running a restaurant or a bakery is keeping the cooking equipment carbon and grease free. Many owners have tried almost everything that they can think of with this age-old problem, from grease cutter concoctions to the dishwasher.
The MBR 3000 is a new concept in cleaning of extractor filters, baking trays, grills, pots and pans, etc. The MBR 3000 has been perfected over the last few years through extensive research. It uses a heat immersion tank in conjunction with a chemical solution that ensures the equipment comes out absolutely clean.
It is a safe, efficient, reliable and easy method to clean your equipment - e.g. your filters - just remove the filters from the canopy, place them into the tank overnight and let MBR 3000 do the rest. A quick rinse and they are as good as new again - it's as easy as that! Not to mention the time and effort you will save your staff.
Having the MBR 3000 around permanently means that you can clean your filters as often as you like without any interference in your cooking process, having to allocate special staff duties, or having the irritation of outside cleaning people in your kitchen.

chip fryers
gas burners
cutlery / crockery
any stainless steel items / utensils
any (non-plastic) utensils that accumulate carbon, fat, grease, etc
Examples of Results Achieved Using Our Soak Tanks
The following pictures were taken during a trial at Score Supermarket in Tembisa.
This is what the strapped bread pans looked like after being cleaned in the tank over a period of a few days:

Here are some of the strapped bread pans that have been partially cleaned, amongst others that have not been cleaned in our soak tank. A few more soaks will make them look like the ones in the picture above:

These bread pans were in the tank at the time we emptied the tank to service it and replace the chemicals. The pictures clearly demonstrate how the carbon fibre build-up is being removed and the pans being restored to their “original condition”:

Monthly Service
A service is carried out by Soak Tank Solutions every four weeks, which involves draining the MBR 3000, cleaning it and changing the chemical.
Repairs will be carried out at our cost, provided that these repairs do not result from misuse or negligence of the MBR 3000.
Operation
The MBR 3000 tank is made from high quality stainless steel. It is locally manufactured and is available in two different sizes: Jumbo (380 litres, 750 x 850 x 600) and Maxi (250 litres, 600 x 750 x 600).
The MBR 3000 is heated by means of a thermostatically controlled element which maintains the chemical solution at 85 degrees Celcius.
The unique SABS approved chemical solution, combined with this constant temperature and water agitation, are keys to the MBR 3000's unique cleaning properties.
Safe and Economical
The cleaning method used is a safe one, remembering at all times that the chemical solution in the MBR 3000 will be at about 85 degrees celcius.
The chemicals used to clean are non-toxic, biodegradable and contain no caustic soda or corrosive agents.
The chemicals are long lasting and easily clean equipment for one month without needing replacement. Like any chemical, however, respect and careful handling is required.
